What if I dont have a manometer for measuring MIP and MEP?

You don’t need a manometer to start training effectively with The Breather.

To help users train at the right intensity, we developed the Breather Effort Scale — a 10-point visual scale (similar to rating pain at the doctor) combined with something called the Talk Test. This helps you or your clinician gauge if you’re training in the right zone for either strength or endurance.

If your current resistance starts to feel too easy, that’s a sign you’re getting stronger, and it may be time to increase your settings. The Breather Effort Scale helps guide those adjustments without needing any special equipment.
